Isla is still full of cold, in fact she’s been ill for almost a week now.
None of us like to see our children, I don’t like seeing either of my kids poorly but I especially don’t like Isla being ill. Isla can’t tell us if she feels ill, if anything hurts, what she would like to do to make her feel a little bit better. It’s a guessing game that you pray you will get right, I suppose much like having a baby.
When Isla doesn’t feel right she may not even know why. Many children with autism experience varying degrees of pain and discomfort, some unable to pin point what’s wrong only that they don’t quite feel right.
Here’s hoping Isla feels better soon, until then I am just going to enjoy that all Isla wants right now is mummy cuddles. That’s the one thing I’m really good at x
